SYNOPSIS

Geneviève is a banker, Régis is a priest, the others are a hotel desk clerk, a welfare recipient, a pensioner, a senior executive, and they all have one thing in common: a passion for soccer. To such dedicated Olympique Lyonnais (OL) supporters, for better or worse, soccer supporting has long been more than a hobby: it has become an act of faith, an identity claim, and a philosophy of life. This documentary explores the behind-the-scenes of supporterism, following six protagonists through the excitement of a game, from the days and hours preceding the match to those that followed. This immersion into a parallel world reveals some aspects of our society, in particular our relation to the group, the meaning of that passion, and also its limits.
