SYNOPSIS

This film tells film the story of an obsession – a young man’s obsession with music. World-renowned, maverick pianist Tigran Hamasyan makes unconventional jazz music that fascinates the greatest players and unsettles the purists. The director sweeps us along from the United States to Europe to Armenia and to France looking into the roots of this ever-searching artist. Tigran draws his inspiration as much from rock metal and jazz as from an insatiable thirst for the history and the musical folklore of his country. This intimate journey lets emotions surge from the wrestling game between the man and his music.
